         Department of Psychology offers two subsidiary papers such as Abnormal Psychology and
Social Psychology to the BA Philosophy course started in 1947. Calicut University accepted
the CCSS BA programme in 2009 and the Department of Psychology offered two
complementary courses each in the I, II, III & IV Semesters of the BA Philosophy
programme. In 2019 Calicut University accepted the revised scheme of CUCBCSS,
Psychology offered four complementary courses in Complementary I (Applied Psychology)
and four complementary courses in Complementary II (General Psychology) in the I, II, III &
IV Semesters of BA Philosophy programme onwards. The name of the papers offered are
Psychological Processes, Social Behaviour, Abnormal Behaviour and Lifespan development
& Health Psychology in semester I, II, III & IV respectively.
