Department of Political Science

The department of Political Science was started in the College as a part of Economics department in 1947. Then it was offering subsidiary course to the students of UGEconomics. Since the establishment of UG History in 1981-1982, it begun to offer subsidiary course to UG History. Renowned teachers in the subject like Dr. G Gopakumar (former VC of Kasergode Central University), P Thankamani (worked here for 26 years) were part of this department.
