The Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala has introduced the Scholar Support Programme(SSP) in the Arts & Science Colleges during 2012-13. 2014–15 this programme is initiated in our college. The programme aims at imparting personalized academic support to the needy students through tutorials, study materials, additional lectures, Question banks and interactive sessions. Under this scheme college has admitting selected students from all UG Classes. It focusing on academically lower performed students to empower them with scaffolding to satisfy their academic problems.
The students who have secured less than 60 % marks were eligible for selection to this programme. Sixty extra teaching hours are allotted for students. Dr.Kavitha.T, Associate Professor, Department of Tamil is the present Co-ordinator .
